Private Hospitals

We provide contracted Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy to private hospitals such as Circle Reading and Spire Dunedin. The benefits are:

For hospitals – we reduce the length of stay at hospitals making sure patients meet their target length of stay. This helps minimise the number of delayed discharges which cost the hospital money in blocked beds.

-Other benefits include: increased patient quality of care and satisfaction as we help plan their discharge home from hospital, reduced risk of post operative complications as we continue to support patients in the community.

We have partnered with Spire Dunedin hospital, Reading, Circle Reading Hospital , Reading and Thornford Park medium and low secure hospital  in Newbury.

For consultants

We ensure your patients receive early intervention to help them make a fast and safe discharge home from hospital and a full recovery.

Delays in implementing therapy can lead to muscle deconditioning, joint stiffness and reducing confidence in mobilising that can lead to a higher risk of falls, chest infection and readmission to hospital.  The supplementary input our team offers can promote independence and builds confidence.

The benefits for your patients include:

Physio and occupational therapy delivered in a patient’s own home – at their convenience

Fast discharge home- no need to wait for lengthy social support procedures

Early intervention- providing support and encouragement to optimise recovery

Monitoring- We are able to identify developing problems at an early stage minimising complications

No long waiting lists – We can see your patients at hospital and immediately after they are discharged home.

Lower risk of readmissions. We ensure your patients are safe and keep active at home during their recovery, minimising complications.
